Calories are below how calorie and losing weight, but doesn’t seem sustainable. Just casual conversation

I’m 16F, 5’1 SW: 226 CW:216

The past two days I haven’t been exceeding my 1600 calorie mark, but it hasn’t been the best choice of food. I will say i’m extremely proud I got a small popcorn at the movies and kept the creme brûlée french toast my mom made at a minimum.

However, I find almost everyday on My Fotness pal I’m either going over my fat or carb intake. All this keto stuff is being thrown at me. I don’t think I’m ready for that restriction just yet.

I’m seeing results, but there’s days i’m hitting only around 1300 calories. I’m satisfied and eat filling foods, but I feel I should be fueling my body more, and with “cleaner foods” ie proteins and veggies.

Money in my family is tight and I haven’t done meal prep yet. I’m nervous that i’ll waste food, meaning i’ve wasted their money.

Any guidance maybe?
