Haven't had soda in over 3 years, had a lapse of judgement

For 3 years I refused to have soda. I could have lemonade, fruit punch, stuff with no carb or caffeine.

A few months ago I decided to start having carbonated water but nothing else. It was nice at first and then I just kinda got over it and have it once in a while.

For some reason, I just now went into the fridge and saw a Diet Pepsi. It said 0 calories, and the ingredients didn't look like much and I wondered why I even told myself no to diet sodas, and had one. I fell in love instantly. It's one of the best tasting drinks I've ever had. I like everything about it.

So I guess I'm going to start to drinking sodas with no sugar or calories. I'm really confused now why I denied myself this for so long, so I was wondering, is something wrong with having it? I denied myself of carbonated water for so long, and now I see nothing wrong with it, and now I'm looking at Diet Pepsi and see nothing wrong with it either.

I remember the last soda I had had, it was a dr. pepper and I was starting to buy it every day and loved it. One day I saw that it had over 60 g of sugar and that was why I quit. The Diet Pepsi seems innocent.
