Is it ok to eat ~1000 calories in a day once in a while

Hello, I'm a 16 year old male currently dieting. I was never really overweight, as in my BMI was 25, but I was not fit, either.

I currently aim for 1900 calories per day and get a decent amount of exercise. I've been dieting for a month to the day, and have definitely seen results. Since I've been eating less, I've noticed I've definitely not been as hungry. Some days, I won't really feel hungry at all. Today for example, I woke up at 10:30 but finally ate breakfast at about 4 PM. I could feel that my stomach was empty, but at the same time I had no appetite, so I didn't eat. I ate one bowl of cereal at 4 and then a bowl of pulled pork at about 9 after playing tennis.

According to MyFitnessPal, this comes out to just over a thousand calories, and likely less since I normally overestimate. It's almost 10 now, and I'm not hungry at all, but recognize that you're supposed to eat more than 1000 calories in a day for your health.

I am just wondering if this is ok as long as I don't feel hungry and don't eat this little everyday. I'd like to stress that I'm not forcing myself to eat this little, but I genuinely don't feel hungry.
