Nerdy, lanky guys can be fat too, finishing my 8 year journey to getting ripped! [Pics before and after]

Me in 2011 at 185 lbs, Me this week 2019, at 153 lbs

My whole life, my family commented on being thin and needed meat on my bones. Just eat more, but no one was actually a fitness enthusiast to teach me how to work out. I took up the goal of reducing body fat and increasing muscle, and it really pays off in all parts of life. You can do it, just set correct goals and time frames while ignoring the haters! Recent history I spent 2 years "cutting" (deficit diet with mild exercise) and then followed with 2 more years on a bulk/cut rotation. I wanted to enhance specific features of my body, so I target muscle groups in my routine along with general HIIT (high intensity interval training).

Keep at it and let me know if there are any specifics you are interested in.
