Overweight East Asians (Rant)

This is kind of a vent post because it just happened to me.

In East Asian countries, females are supposed to be really skinny. Like 99 lbs regardless of height. I am almost 100 pounds over that. Hence, I get a lot of fat shaming from my family. I don't care about that because I got used to it.

Normally, in America, people don't comment on strangers' appearances. This is good for me so I don't have to deal with more stress during the day.

I was walking through a mall and had to squat down to get my keys from my suitcase and these three Chinese girls said some pretty mean things. Like my butt is really big and abnormally large for a Chinese person. And other shit. They pointed at me.

I understood what they said and made eye contact with them. I wanted to slap them. I really did. But the biggest feeling was frustration and defeat.

International Chinese students thought I was a dude because of my bulky physique. There are girls at my school who I wanted to be friends with but they didn't like me because I am fat.

This is really hard. I eat healthily. I always have. I exercise too. No matter what I do, I am always going to be 180 pounds and 65 inches tall and I hate that the culture I want to be accepted in primarily won't let me in because of my physical appearance.
