Your thoughts on Kurbo?

I apologize if this has already been discussed, my search didn’t find any hits. WW has launched an app to help kids ‘reach a healthy weight’ called Kurbo. My kids are mostly grown, but I’m curious for myself, I have lost almost 40 lbs this last year, am almost at maintenance and have found that the simple understanding of food and nutrition has been the best thing for me. Not over complicating with macros/calories/timing. Simply recognizing hunger signals, emotional struggles, and wise food choices has been extremely difficult as I was raised with a very unhealthy view of eating, not feeding my body what it needs, but what I want. I guess my question is, what is your thoughts on a simplified understanding of ‘diet’ basics. Not an actual diet, but the lifestyle. How this impacts kids, and could we all use this simple tool?
