So I have been overweight or obese my entire life. And throughout my life I have tried to enjoy physical activity many times over the years. I’ve done yoga, Zumba, hiking, circuit training classes, circuit training on my own exercise videos, YouTube tutorials, and daily walking! The only one of those I got any real results or enjoyment from was the group circuit training, and that was way to expensive for me to do for more than a few months.
So I just don’t like exercise. It’s something about myself that at age 31 isn’t likely to change. But I do like reading, watching YouTube, and doing hand crafts. So I have picked up the cheapest under desk mini exercise bike I could find and I have been putting hours of very low intensity exercise in every day while enjoying activities I do like! It has been working out so well for me. It’s early days, I’ve only had it a week, but it is so nice to be able to exercise and not have to be doing something that feels like a chore.
I was wondering what other ways people have found to enjoy exercise people on this sub have found to enjoy exercise when it’s not really your thing? Pokémon Go? Dancing? How do you stay active?
