the nap that stopped me from going over

this morning i put away 900 calories worth of yogurt, granola, popcorn, and a english muffin and as someone who’s sticking to 1200 a day i was pretty bummed out- luckily i had class from 12-4:30 to keep me from eating more but i still had 2.5 hours until dinner with a friend... a part of me was like, “just forget today, eat that snack you were thinking about and let loose for dinner.”

but then i tucked myself into bed and cozied myself up way too well to want to get up and grab that snack. earlier i had also gotten a lot of homework done and had a pretty terrible morning aside from the sudden food bonanza so having a little nap to fill the time until dinner was an unexpected but great solution! stayed just a little over budget at 1230 and i’m just grateful to have kept strong. this community motivates me to make better choices and to work towards my goal!! :) thanks everyone!!
