Never posted here so please excuse any mistakes I make. I also don't know if this is even allowed here but I'm trying it. About me: I am 6'4, 305 lbs, 20 years old.
Around two weeks ago, I decided I wanted to change my life. I quit smoking, quit all other drugs and have been on a strict diet for the last two weeks. I've been logging everything I eat in MyFitnessPal and have been capping by calories at 1200-1500 a day. I have also been going to the gym everyday, where I workout with low weights with high reps to burn more calories, and then do a 3 mile walk after I lift. When I started this two weeks ago, I was 305 lbs. I weighed myself today, and I'm not expecting large numbers, but I was only down 1.6 lbs from two weeks ago. How is this possible? My caloric intake before my diet was somewhere around 3500, so how would I of not lost more weight since then? I understand losing weight takes a long time but I figured it would be more than 1.6 lbs for such a strict diet and workout. Any answers or even ideas would be greatly appreciated.
