Decided to get back on track after an injury that stopped me from working out and getting back into shape. Need some help with the diet and gym part of losing weight please help!!

Hey guys! As stated I actually used to be a runner before I got injured in the army. I'm from Singapore so Serving the nation is required by all Males. I tore my ligaments in my ankle while doing am exercise with my company. After the injury I went for surgery and was bed ridden and excused from training for a whole year. I basically got fat from this and to top it off my asthma came back and I dislocated my knee a year after recovering from my previous injury.

I've gained about 20 kg. And I've decided to start losing it after I was made fun by my ex girlfriend after she saw me. Not doing it for her but it was a wake up call to start working myself and getting to how I used to be 2 years back.

So I would like your help to see if this is a good way to lose weight or if I need to change some parts.

Diet: Morning - 2 Hard Boiled Eggs (Egg white only) Lunch - Apple and Nuts Dinner - Handful of Rice, Chicken Breast and Broccoli

As for gym are there workouts I could do that'll help with losing weight properly? Or do I just watch YouTube videos and implement that into my workout?

Thanks for the help!!!!
