Overcoming Binge Eating?

Seeking any advice on how to stop binge eating. I honestly feel like the thing that tells people to stop eating is switched off for me. I use to be crazy in shape and able to follow a healthy and sustainable diet for years. In addition I have a graduate degree around behavioral health and healthy living. This all makes it so frustrating that I've been struggling with binge eating for the past two years.

It all started when my mental health spiraled down and I used food as a coping mechanism. After every therapy appointment I would just scarf down as much fast food as I could. I'm doing significantly better mental health wise, but the food as a coping mechanism is still there.

I'm honestly at a loss of how change my behavior to something sustainable. The binge eating is slowly killing me. I'm the heaviest I've ever been and I'm terrified of diabetes and other chronic diseases from my health choices.

Any advice from anyone that's overcome binge eating?
