Advice?

I have recently had the thought to get into shape as I hate how nothing is fitting me anymore. For reference, I am 17, 5'3 and 175lb. I have started restricting calories to around 1600-1700 (nothing too extreme as I am still a teenager) and have gone on walks more frequently than before, I used to average around 2000 steps daily and now average around 7000 steps.

I would like to start going to the gym as it seems like it would be beneficial but I can't seem to bring myself to get a membership, alongside the fact I am working a minimum wage job with only 10 hours a week and no way to increase them (very low on labour right now and they're closer to reducing my hours than increasing them). I've also started to prepare some meals and switch to more plant based foods rather than ordering in a takeaway. Obviously I have my limits financially and have no skill in the kitchen, but I want to do something for myself as my parents aren't helping; they make nutritious meals for themselves and give me a microwave lasagne.

If there's any advice I could get that would be relatively easy for someone my age to stick to, I would be more than happy to hear it. Thanks :))
