Pretty excited about this. I have successfully held myself accountable for 100 days. I have meticulously measured and weighed foods to log into the lose it! App. I didn't always care if I was over my allotment. At least it was logged. I KNEW where my calories were going. It made me realize what foods are filling and low cal and what foods I can still enjoy but I need to pace myself. I am 25F 5'5" SW - 200 CW - 150 GW - 135 Prior to logging it took me 6 1/2 months to lose the first 25lbs. Mainly drinking less alcohol, more water and being more cautious. Coming into the winter I knew the cold and isolation would make me more prone to overeating so end of Sept/start of Oct I believe I started logging everything and setting my goal to "around" 1200kcal/day with some days that I would climb above that. I still allow myself to eat what I want for the most part. I am not a breakfast eater. So I usually only start eating lunch around 1pm and feel full after dinner with maybe a late night snack 1-2 days a week. After the 100 days I lost an additional 25lbs. So safe to say it really helped my progress.
I still have another 15lbs I'd like to lose. But I am really happy!
Excercise outside of my work has been hit or miss. Summer I am pretty active competing with my horses. However late fall and winter I might do some weight training at home a couple nights a week. Otherwise I just walk a lot and do a lot of stairs at work (~8k steps avg).
