My normal weight is about 163 lbs. After eating 1-2 days of “cheat foods” Maybe 3000-3500 cal each of these days. Usually carbs/high sugar foods are the worst. I will weigh in around 180-184 lbs. My jaw line will disappear and my face will swell up so badly it looks like I’m having an allergic reaction. My abs will disappear, my stomach will expand and I’ll have to loosen my belt about 3 holes, and all my shirts feel tight. I’ve had friends comment especially on the changes in my face.
I can just “feel the weight” if that makes sense. I normally will not have a bowel movement over the course of these days, I will feel extreme fatigue & muscle weakness. Also usually accompanied is a lot of gas and indigestion.
After weekends like this I’ll go into the gym for some cardio and sauna. Today I weighed myself at 178.6 lbs before coming to the gym. I did 1h 30m of running on the elliptical & 1h of sauna. (20m intervals) I limited my water intake to 500 ml this entire time. When I got home and got on the scale I was 167.1
11 POUNDS in 2.5 hours.
This is an unfortunate normal routine for me. If there is any event where I know I’ll be indulging in “cheat foods” I mentally prepare myself for a 3 hour gym session the next day unless I want to look like a blob for the next week.
Also want to note I am extremely sensitive to carbs. If I have any high carb meal the amount of fatigue I feel afterwards is overwhelming like I can barely move. I usually end up taking a nap.
I tested negative for celiac.
