So I happen to live in Milan. I also happen to be a student there, 800km away from home. My last exam was on Friday, it was the so expected end of a stressful period but no, of course not, the virus needed to come here and shut the whole city every night. Tens of people on the street are wearing masks or scarves and they're all GOING CRAZY.
Good luck finding some sanitizing in a supermarket, hell in mine good luck finding even some pasta today! Yes, an italian supermarket RUN OUT OF PASTA.
Of course, I was totally unprepared. I had basically no food left in the house because, you know, last few days before last exam, you tend to postpone shopping groceries.
Also, I was supposed to go back home next weekend for a couple of days, it's been planned weeks ago... But now I don't know what to do, because their forcing students in home quarantine for 2 weeks if they come back home in some regions (not mine now, but who knows). And this virus is, of course, been spreading for weeks now, so I don't think I should go back home and potentially put my family to even the slightest risk.
That being said, I find myself with little food in the house, mostly processed, I can't go to the gym because they're closed, I can't go anywhere basically because people just want to stay home, and go blame them... But it's just so depressing.
My calorie budget? Well...
