I need help with creating a plan that will last. I need some help & motivation!

I am overall unhappy with my health and weight right now (5’4, 159 lbs). I just feel very uncomfortable in my body, and whenever I try to change it, I relapse into an old thinking habit and tell myself “tomorrow” or “some other time.”

In 3 or so weeks from now, I’m going on a vacation of sorts and I want to look and feel good about myself. It doesn’t help that I have this unhealthy mindset, and that I go to food as a coping mechanism. I’m very busy, and I can only work out in my free time (which is few and far between). This is the main reason why I’m looking to change mainly my diet plan and mindset, and incorporate more exercise when I have more free time. I’m just looking for tips from those of you who have been in a similar situation or who have dealt with this before. I don’t expect to change one day and magically wake up the next morning 20 pounds less, but I’d love to at least lose 10 by the time 3 weeks come around. And after that, I want to be motivated enough that I’ll keep on sticking with the plan I create.
