F22 5'5.5 Since I was in middle school, I began gaining weight. I guess I just kept eating more and more, but I'm not an emotional eater at all. In fact, I can lose weight pretty easily, but until the past month or 2 I haven't really had the motivation to do it and actually keep going. I was about 163lbs when I actually lost weight in 11th grade from going to a summer camp at Penn State (no idea what I weighed before that, but ik I was physically bigger) I was on my own for the first time. The cafeteria always had really good, healthy food. On top of that, I had to walk everywhere and would drink a lot of water. Fast forward to high school graduation (2016) and I was about 185. Since then, the highest weight I saw on the scale was 189 last summer while I was on my period. Somehow after that, around November I stepped on the scale and it said 172. Idk what I did differently, but after that I tried to eat more healthily, even though I wasn't really trying to lose weight. I'm also very into water fasting btw. I don't even remember when I actually started trying to lose weight, but it was within the past month or 2. I started by just thinking about the quantity of food I eat since I already eat pretty clean, and I cut down on the amount of bread I eat (like I'll eat bread maybe 2-3x a week. I do intermittent fasting so I usually only eat between 1pm and 7-9ish. I'm not too strict about it. Since high school, my goal has been to get down to 155 for no reason in particular. This morning I stepped on the scale and it said 160!! Since this month I've set a new short term goal of 152 because I thats when I'll be 24.9 on the BMI chart, and a long term goal to get anywhere in the 130's. Wish me luck on my journey! I'm new to reddit, and I'm only on it now because of Luke's YT channel
