In my previous post, I explained how I have troubles reaching 1600 calories a day because of food guilt.
The last two days since posting that, I’ve worked harder on reaching that calorie count. It has been successful and both days I reached 1600 (well, one day was 1586, but close), but now I’m wondering, is it normal to feel hungry while on a diet? I tried eating 1900-2000 calories before and all I do is maintain. 1600 seems to be the number that helps me lose weight but I’ve been so hungry. I eat nutritious foods for supper and breakfast, but I guess it’s not enough.
Does this mean I should up my calorie count to maybe 1700, or does it mean my snacks need to be healthy too? I don’t really eat snacks but when I do it’s usually popcorn lol
I just know it’s 10:26pm here and I’m starving. I really want to eat but I don’t want to go over my calorie intake.
