How do you forgive yourself?

Today I went to work at 4:30am. I work at Starbucks and we always open at this time. Almost everyday, I eat after 12pm. From 4:30am-12pm I will have water, coffee, and tea. I am usually perfectly fine with this.

For some reason, I was so hungry today around 9pm so I had a low calorie breakfast sandwich. I got home and ate lunch around 1:30pm, still feeling hungry. Then I took my niece to mcdonald’s and we shared a chicken nugget happy meal.

And now I can’t stop thinking about it.

We’re supposed to order pizza tonight and I was already mentally preparing for that but now I feel so guilty about the Mcdonald’s, and I’m way too tired to do my daily home workout.

How do you get over the guilty feeling? Because right now, all I want to do is devour the package of decadent chocolate chunk cookies sitting in my pantry. That’s what happens when I feel guilty. I want to just keep eating, even though that’s what makes me feel guilty in the first place.

How do you forgive yourself for slipping up? I feel so ugly and large and like I take up too much space.
