Do I need to count calories forever?!

I started counting calories 2 months ago in order to lose weight! It's been going great so far but as i get closer to my goal weight I'm worried about how I'll maintain it without counting calories.

I'm uber aware of how all the calories add up so I'm scared I'll screw up without tracking.

Does anyone have any advice on how to transition to not counting? Possible tips too!

Another thing is that my relationship with food isn't terrible which makes it even more difficult for me to gauge whether I'll be able to make good choices w/out my tracker. My vices are baked goods & chocolate. I'm not a binge eater, I can't eat lots of pastries/chocolate at once cause I get massive headaches & I don't eat tons of junk (chips, pizza etc).

Added: I'm 20, sw: 165, cw: 154 & gw: 140 I exercise 6 days a week (cause of quarantine) but otherwise i workout 4 days a week.
