I am getting married in August. My goal when I started this journey back in January was to lose 30 pounds by the wedding. That goal came and went and I have been working hard at hitting my goal weight. My wedding dress came in and I started the alterations process. I went for my second fitting yesterday and the dress had to be taken in more. I get to pick it up in a month and when I get it, there will be no more time for any further changes. I’ve been trying to accept that this is what I will look like and that I need to stop losing if I want the dress to fit, but it’s so hard to change my mindset from losing to maintaining. Does anyone have any advice on how to overcome that mental hurdle? Do you recommend I eat a little more or exercise a little less? For reference, I eat about 1200 calories a day, sometimes a little less. I do a HIIT workout about 5 days a week, walk a few miles a day, and run maybe once or twice a week. Any help is appreciated!
