After eating whole foods that are home cooked for 3 months straight, I tried pre-packaged frozen food and oh boooy...

... I hated it.

So I’ve been eating whole foods and home cooked meals for 3 months now. I made a commitment to make sure I could weigh and calorie count everything I ate.

Today while picking up chicken less chicken nuggets for my wife, at the grocery store I saw in the frozen vegan section these frozen avocado bites that you bake in the oven.

I like avocado. I like battered deep fried things. It wasn’t so bad, 200 calories for 8 pieces. I had 200 cal left today to consume in my diet tonight and I’m not very hungry so... Why not..?

Oh god they were NOT good. It wasn’t so much the product, I think I would’ve liked them 3 months back. It was the feeling and taste of the grease, the amount of salt, the grossness of the fatty feeling crunchiness and the general lack of flavour in the product.

I knew my palette had changed. But I was very wrong about how much!

That is al!
