Hi everybody.
I feel so incredibly disheartened I need some help.
In July of this year I started working out 5 days a week (HIIT work outs only because I was in Melbourne lockdown). I counted my calories for the first time in a long time and noticed I was eating almost double the amount that most calculators were saying I should. I was a huge binge eater. I weight 51.8kg at 5'1'' and after 1 month of eating in a calorie deficit and working out I was still 51.8kg.
Between August and October I tried to do less HIIT workouts a week and incorporate other forms of exercise like pilates, yoga, and still kept the routine of working out 5 days a week. I was still in a deficit and there was still no change.
End of October I dropped my calories to 1080 and 1.4kg in two weeks along with working out. I was so happy. Now we are mid November and I'm back to 51.2kg. I'm not on my period, I'm eating enough protein, I am counting EVERYTHING I eat, even oils, or when I lick a piece of my partner's food off my fingers. I don't want to go lower in my calories. I feel so unsatisfied and hungry all the time. I know that a calorie deficit is the way to lose weight so why!!!
TLDR; Started working out from completely nothing to 5 days a week in July and have seen no change eating on a calorie deficit of 1080.
