25M 180cm 97kg(213lb), GW78 slow progress for a year despite low intake

Hey everyone. I am a bit at a loss here. The short version of my bio goes like this. I had been ebese for 3 years after gaining weight rapidly during a depressive episode in my early twenties that also caused me an ugly array of stretch marks. Before this I had been athletic most of my life and I have since been trying to get back into a body I feel comfortable with since my low point at ~112kg three years ago.

What unnerves me is that I have been struggling hard to get below 90kg despite sticking to on average 1700kcal intake while cycling 30-60min every workday, which should in theory put me in a decent spot to slowly loose weight. I have lost 4kg compared to last new years eve, but I for a few months I have been stuck at 97kg, even since I started going bouldering regularily. My strategies have been keto in my first push down from 112kg, plant based diet and later liquid meal replacement for non at home meals.

I am happy about how my body has changed from cycling and climbing, back to a glimpse from my 'old self' and I'm currently on the waiting list for a gym around the corner though. To be perfectly honest it makes me more bitter about the sheer added work from having to carry almost 20kg extra though.

I do feel really burnt out at this point and would love some advice from others who have been there. Should I see a doctor at this point for hypothyroidism, which would fit with me being sleepy a lot? Or am I bullshitting myself and need to control my intake tighter?

Thanks :)
