I hope I have the motivation to make this try stick

Hello everyone. ive always been a heavy dude 5'9" 280 at minimum since highschool never watched what I ate. Well about a month ago I had a doctor's visit and weighed in at 356lbs. While I never had cared about my weight much I told myself If I ever hit 350.. well that I'd never hit 350. It's easy to ignore the issues my weight presents or I guess just acclimate to them. I have little to no energy, extreme sleep apnea, the list of things I can blame on my weight is endless. I've started dieting? I mean I'm just following calorie counts and trying to stay under 2080 a day. It's tough all my favorite foods I just can't imagine fitting them in the day. Honestly how do I get some KFC without ruining my day? Oh well for now it's more important to lose the weight. At my last weigh in I was down to 345. Which is great progress in my eyes. Im not sure why I'm posting this maybe so I can look back at it and see why I started and to keep my motivation. Hope everyone else out there is doing well. Much love.
