I need to lose weight. 15(F). 300 pounds. 5'4. I have been obese my whole life so this didn't happen suddenly,
I am desperate. I came here to seek advice after getting it from my family which I never seem to stick with. The problem with my family is that I can't change what my parents buy to eat, and I don't have access to a gym. I cant take a walk around my neighborhood because it isn't safe and its a busy street. Our family consumes greasy unhealthy foods with little healthy foods. The only thing that I can do is my PT in JROTC. I would like to lose weight for my future.
I plan on being in the military and I am way too big for that. I know I will never be able to go down that path if I don't get control of my weight. I get winded going up the stairs up to my room. When I run a mile in far behind everybody else and I am very winded. I walk most of it.
Just a while ago on fathers day, I went to a theme park near my house and I could hardly fit into the rides. This scares me if I cant fit now will I ever be able to fit. I could die early because of this problem causing other health problems. My grandfather was a borderline diabetic, he had blood pressure issues and heart issues. My father has the same and my mother's side has it too.
The reason I came here is that I have surfed what seems like all over the internet to find something to help me. Is there any advice that someone can give me? Any websites that tell what to eat and when? Is there any way to lose about half my weight by the time I am 18?
