For reference: 16.75 years old male, around 260 pounds, 5’10 to 5’11 height wise.
I have been Overweight for as long as I can remember. Never to this extent, but of course I have been. I have always wanted to lose it, but have always struggled with 2 big things: Being healthy and Doing my work in school. Ever since the beginning Semester 2 of Junior year, I have been pushing myself to be the best I can at school, actually turning in work and receiving good grades. Now that I am beginning senior year, I feel it’s time for me to begin focusing on my health. For the first time ever, I feel truly motivated. No body is forcing me to do this like in the past. It is me out of my own volition.
I am planning on going to a gym where my good friend goes and we have agreed to work out together. My questions are: -What workouts should I do? -What should I be eating specifically? -What can I do to help avoid loose skin?
Any other advice you could all give me would be wonderful. I’m really hoping to turn my life around physically as I have educationally, and I thank everyone one of you for even reading this far.
Edit: Just wanted to add that I can drive myself places and my family has agreed to pay for my gym membership so I’m solid in those two places.
