How the heck do I calculate the calories in homemade Greek yogurt? Using MyFitnessPal as the app

I don’t know why I didn’t think making this would be so high calorie.... unless I am calculating this wrong?

In the end, I used 1 gallon of great value whole milk (2400 cals) and 64g of fage 2% plain Greek yogurt (45cals) to make my yogurt. I ended up straining 70.21oz of whey out of it and divided it in 7 portions. That’s... 349 cals per serving? Wtf, I’ll rather bite the bullet and pay for the fage 2% container where it’s 160 cals per cup AND it has more protein.

But it got me thinking, maybe I’m calculating it wrong? How do I input in mfp the amount of whey lost? According to some entries, liquid whey can range from 30 cals to 70 cals per cup, so I chose the 60 cal entry, inputted the 70.21oz which says 547 cals were strained out of the Yogurt (btw that’s mania calculations, how do I make it so mfp subtracts the whey?)

Can someone double check my calculations? Or is it actually 349 cals per serving?
