Hi y'all, not my first time here but it's a fresh start for me (again). My question is, how do you count calories for a small restaurant that won't be in a database?
For example, this morning my SO & I walked to the breakfast place down the street and I ate an egg & sausage crossiant with a thai iced tea. I could see estimating the sandwich, but I don't even know where to start with the drink.
I think this is actually highlighting a core issue of my habits. I'm good about moderation when making my own food, but ever since I started working overtime every week (I do manual labor), I get too tired both morning & night to be consistent about meals and I end up ordering in, and eating an unknown amount of calories.
How do you guys handle this in the short & long term? I don't think I'll be progressing anytime soon until I get a handle on this.
