Results from eating unhealthy but still being calorie deficient?

I’m brand new on my weight lose journey so sorry if they is a stupid question.

I am 21 (f) CW: 150 GW: 130 height: 5’9

I was wondering if you have to eat healthy to lose weight or if you just have to be calorie deficient. Like let’s say I eat around 1200 calories but I do it by eating 1200 calories of Doritos and that’s it. What results with that have on my weight lose?

Today I remained under my calorie goal by 300 calories. Because I had the calories to spare I ate a snickers. I’m trying to figure out if that hurts me or not. Obviously I know I should eat healthy when at all possible but I’m in still under my calorie goal will I still lose weight?
