Trouble with gas as I lose weight.

Bear with me as this gets a little TMI :P

I'm a 5'6 female and I started out at 185 pounds (might have been 190 at one point, but anyway) I'm down to about 172 now. I'm mostly just doing a reduction diet and just generally eating less.

But here and there I'm substituting certain things for healthier options. Breakfast burritos or sandwiches, oatmeal, smoothies and the like instead of cookies and rolls. Or salads and ramen for lunch instead of (often fried or doughy) homemade meals. Just trying to gain a little control of what I consume.

And it's worked, I mean, I've lost notieable weight for the first time in my life. (Seriously)

But now, my stomach is giving me problems. Lots of bloating and gas, some days I have an overwhelming urge to go the bathroom (and it's often either not easy or not very solid [I did warn you]), or I can feel movement...gurgling..sensations in my gut. Some days I feel full for hours!!! and it's painful. Some effervescent tablets usually relieve this.

Am I doing something wrong?
