A NSV and Scale victory in the same day!

I've already shared a lot on my weight-loss journey in past posts, so I won't bother delving into that. But today, I stepped on the scale and it read 170.0lbs. I haven't weighed that little since the first trimester with my second child, when I was horribly sick with hyperemesis gravidarum. I haven't seen myself at this weight (not pregnant) since... Right out of highschool? I'm only 5lbs from my first goal weight, and after that, it's a short 25lbs to ultimate goal weight!

Now for the NSV: last year, I believe in May, I was talking to some female family members about these jeans I had ordered online, stupidly in the size I was used to wearing, but once they got here they didn't fit. I was 5 months post-partum and about 185lbs. One girl suggested I sell them to recoup my money and buy ones that fit. I replied that no, I'd rather hold onto them for after I lost weight and they fit again. My father-in-law was passing through the room and overheard the conversation and replied " you think you're gonna lose weight? Haha!" And it freaking hurt. A lot. Well, here I am today, realizing those jeans that at that time were far too tight and cut in, and at my heaviest were inches apart between the button and button hole are now getting too big. I didn't respond anything to my FIL in that moment back in May, but I know I'm getting the last laugh now, having lost 35lbs, and still trucking along.

Here's a nice side-by-side of me at my heaviest in August vs this morning :)
