Hi, I am new to this so please excuse me if this has been answered before or if this isn’t the right place to post. I don't know if this is the right place to post it because in r/fitness it got deleted, despite the answer not being anywhere in their wiki. :( I am seeking advice and I did Google it as well, (and look through the "getting started" page here) but didn't find anything.
I have a big butt and I want to make it smaller. However, I do a HIIT workout every day that has lots of butt exercises (squats, lunges, etc) mixed in the workout. I’m worried this will make my butt even bigger than it already is! I am on a 1200 calorie diet right now trying to get at least 25% protein every day. My butt muscles are sore almost every day.
I am using the loseit app to track everything.
What do you think? What am I doing wrong, if anything? In my mind it makes sense to restrict but also try to eat protein so that I might be able to keep and build some muscle while I’m losing fat.
But honestly I don’t know how any of this works so any advice would be welcome!
