So I’ve been working out on and off for around 3 years. But lost some weight most recently end of last year, took a mini break for Christmas and then back on it start of this year. However, I’ve noticed I’ve started doing something and not entirely sure how to fix it
Let’s take yesterday for example: I had gone to the gym, did a really good leg session, came home and had a big yummy tuna salad (one of my faves, with croutons, seasoning etc). I then had friends round... we ordered Chinese, I didn’t get rice and stuck to chicken mainly. However I noticed that after that I ended up eating quite a few “snacks”, mainly chocolate etc until the point that when I got into bed I felt uncomfortable as my stomach was so full. I ate past the point of WANTING to eat?
I’m not sure if it adds to it, but I am currently on my menstrual cycle. But, this happened a few times this past week too - I’m not sure if it’s emotional eating or hormones or what
I would really appreciate any advice as I know this is going to stunt my progress. Especially as I’m only 5ft 2, and mainly trying to lose fat and the last couple of pounds. So, need to be quite consistent with my diet. Also to make sure I’m getting what I want out of the gym
Thank you
