I'm a 30 year old male that weighed 200lb on Jan 1. I'm 5'5'' so I'm obviously obese though my bloodwork didn't give back anything too crazy other than that I will probably experience pretty severe joint pain as I get older. I recently started on a Keto diet and have been maintaining it for 2 weeks now. I've lost say 8lb in the first week and another 4 in the second but now whenever I weigh myself I find that I suddenly have stopped losing weight.
This is driving me nuts because I go to the gym 1 hour in the morning doing the treadmill (the machine reads that I burn at least 500 calories on it), walk an additional 10k steps throughout the day, and then either go to the gym again to lift, or go home to lift dumbells. Ever since I went into ketosis my apetite for food has shrunk and I typically eat around 1200-1400 calories a day, basically eggs, salmon and veggies.
What am I missing here? If i follow the math I should be at a 1-2k calorie deficit each day but the scale isn't budging?
