I can’t believe that just two months ago I was almost 200 lbs and now I’m at 167!
I seriously want to cry sometimes because I can finally wear clothes and not feel like a giant. I told myself I couldn’t buy clothes until 169 and after hitting that mark I felt so good and I bought clothes with the thought in mind that I’d actually still be able to fit them in a few months. When they arrived and I tried them on and saw my arms didn’t look like two sausages, it really made me realize how badly my self esteem had been affected!
It’s interesting because honestly, naked, I don’t see much of a difference personally. But others have definitely noticed and then in certain clothes I notice.
My goal weight before some trips I’m taking in April is 155 which is 12 more lbs to go. I’m still doing CICO, though lately I’ve gotten in the habit of mentally keeping track of my calories instead of strictly through MFP. I’m still seeing loses doing this and I like that it makes me feel like I have a handle on CICO, but I also don’t want to fall into old habits so I still keep MFP close in case I don’t confidently know the calories or something.
I do a lot of intermittent fasting since I usually don’t even care to have breakfast and it saves my calories for later, but I will say that my eating habits haven’t changed much at all. I still eat fast food quite often, just a lot less. I exercise for half an hour every single day with most days seeing me exercise anywhere from 80-120 minutes a day with my base being at least 2 miles on the treadmill at 13 minutes or less per mile and then using various machines and then adding on whatever I’m i. The mood for. I also take classes during the day at work to ensure I meet my fitness goals.
Overall I will say...Keto never worked for me, Whole 30 didn’t work...NOTHING has worked except what I’ve outlined above. The biggest saving grace has been I can have whatever I want, which makes my brain feel satisfied, but I just have to budget it, which makes me feel like it’s a small sacrifice to eat what I want guilt free.
Just about every other day I feel like I may fall of the bandwagon, but it’s a lot harder to do that when you start seeing results. Keep pushing everyone!!
Forgive any typos please!
