My personal experiences with my Dad in specific has been so ridiculous I don't even know where to start.
Just 5 minutes ago he went on some angry rant about how i'm selfish because I don't always eat everything my family does. He claimed i'm selfish because last week my Dad wanted to order a bunch of pizzas for dinner but I told him I was going to get a salad from Wendys, but I'd still get get the pizzas for him. Ultimately he didn't want to get pizza unless I also ate it for some stupid reason, so I ended up getting him a double cheeseburger and large fries, but apparently that wasn't enough to make him happy. We even ended up ordering 5 pizzas for dinner the next day but he's still angry that I too wouldn't eat the pizza the exact day and time he wanted me to.
His logic is just so idiotic in general, it amazes me. He also seems to think that if someone eats something, they should be willing to eat it all the time at any time. He'll use this as a point if I ever decline food. For example yesterday he said my brother was picking up burgers from KFC and asked how many I wanted, I told him I would just eat the chicken breast I already prepped and he responded by angrily telling me to "stop the bullshit" because he's saw me eat a burger the week prior. Then he went on and on about how it's bullshit that I'll eat a burger when I want but not when he offers. How someone can think like this is beyond me.
Anyways, i'm just staying focused on my goal and ignoring this guy / obstacle. My love to all of you also dealing with people sabotaging or making your goals harder to achieve.
