.. but I don’t want to give up.
My starting weight was 76.3 kilos and for the last 6-7 weeks I have been doing CICO on 1350 calories per day. My TDEE is 1805. It’s been working for me pretty good since I lost 2.2 kilos but I have now been plateauing on 73.35 for 1.5 weeks and the scale won’t budge a single gram. I even stopped weigh myself for 5 days and nothing changed. Worth mentioning also that I have been having at least one super active day per week which should have put me in a even higher calorie deficit.
I know it can be the body holding onto water but can it really do this for so long? I tried a 24 hour fast which went great but again - nothing changed.
I’m starting to feel discouraged and hopeless. Like the progress was just a illusion and that I can’t lose the weight. My goal is 65 kilos and I have completely changed my lifestyle. From laying in bed, 0 exercise, snacking every day to running 3 miles every second day and every second day I walk for 90 minutes. I never eat back the calories. I measure myself every week and I have seen smaller changes but not big ones (I do see a change in the mirror)
I want to trust the process and keep doing whatever I am doing but I’m also scared that what I am doing doesn’t work and I’m wasting time and effort. Can anybody give me advice? What I am doing wrong? What can I improve? Anything is helpful. I want to learn.
Thank you.
