If you have an activity tracker compatible with Myfitnesspall put your my fitnesspall on "sedentary"

So this may not be a revelation to some people but it sure was to me!I used to have the myfitnesspall app set to "moderately active" allowing me 1600 kcal a day + any extra activity counted by my fitbit during the day. After a while i learned if i did over 10k steps in a day it would add extra to myfitnesspal output. Now I always thought those 1600kcal were kind of much but that aside, i also couldn't help but think, okay but what about days im less active? when nothing was added to the +? Those days my 1600 kcal were probably even too much no?So I experimented, I wear a fitbit so I linked fitnesspal and fitbit and changed my activity level to sedentary (jikes only 1200 kcal a day anymore) but as expected, the amount of steps needed for it to add to my +foractivity was way lower. So it went from this

to this

Now the amount of steps aren't the same so the remaining isn't same (15k today vs 19k sunday) but im sure if i did 19k steps today it would've landed me at about the same kcal so the end result remains the same but this allows it to just be a tad bit more accurate! Since I have a chronic illness I have some days I can barely get out of bed so for me this is a way better method to track my real calorie output. I hope this can be helpful to some people (You can also see sunday he added only 420 kcal for exercise while today i got added 777 kcal for exercise)
