I've been cutting down weight for around 2 months, and while I'm not "famished or skinny" my body fat is definitely somewhere in the high teens so I know I'm not like withering away.
The first couple of weeks I probably lost 3-4 pounds a week, but I've been strictly in the healthy 1-2 pounds a week range the last few weeks.
I don't have issues with hunger pains, I'm getting 80-120g of protein a day and plenty of fiber. While I'm fairly low on carbs and fats, I do eat several servings of (real) oatmeal everyday plus I'm addicted to a variety of nuts eggs which are also frequent fliers
The issue I'm having is lightheadedness is kicking my ass. I get light headed all the time, have gotten absolutely insane orthostatic hypotension. It's making it extremely frustrating to continue my diet despite making solid progress. I definitely do not have diabetes, have had recent routine bloodwork that supports that.
I've tried increasing my fluid intake (my pee is clear, except after multi vitamins) I tried jacking up my sodium intake (this helped a little maybe) I'm making sure to take a multivitamin and vitamin b. And it's highly unlikely to be a medical problem as it's strongly correlated to my dieting.
Outside of abandoning the diet, or dialing it back (if I'm not losing only one pound a week I certainly be in the very near future) does anyone have any suggestions?
