Small SV and NSVs this week.

I'm down 7lbs as you can see from my flair. I'm almost ready to move to the smallest notch on my "fat guy" belt. Realizing that small changes can be effective if they become consistent actions.

I've been working on not eating my feelings. I was using candy to help get over my drinking habit but today, instead of eating the entire bag, I only had one serving of licorice. Working on cutting out refined sugars. Only having a cookie at work when there is a messed up batch instead of buying one every day. Last night I had two small pears for a sweet snack and Thursday night I had no sweets. I have a monster sweet tooth, BTW. Eating turbinado sugar out of the bag and then having to vacuum my recliner the next day was a particularly low point but I'm laughing about it now. I did have a binge last week but it was only half the amount of pizza that I would normally eat and I only have a "pizza party" once a month now instead of once a week.

I had lost 15lbs with intermittent fasting but then I gained it all back plus a few pounds more. Trying to get back to 16:8 and OMAD once or twice a week. IF is great if you like having a schedule and eating feels like a reward. YMMV but I recommend it.

Riding my bicycle to work whenever possible once again and looking forward to enjoying fall weather. Hope you are all doing well!
