I've come to realisation that there are just certain things I can't do in the long term. As I am not hugely overweight (would just like to lose 5kg and maybe 10kg) I don't have some huge bad habits to break that will make a huge difference. Eg; like fast food or lack of exercise. I exercise frequently and love healthy food.
I know what I need to do. I know that you have to track minutely every calorie in and out to fix it but I find that ends up really bad for my mental health. I know what I should and shouldn't eat but occasionally my binge eating disorder rears its head. I know that sometimes I serve myself too much dinner and need to eat smaller portions but I'm freakin hungry!
I'm trying out Noom for a bit to see if the gimmicky side of things resonates with me (I already like that the calorie numbers aren't prominent on the daily reporting which provides me with much less anxiety).
Does what I talk about resonate with anyone else? What has helped you? I've been trying hard for so many years and the last couple have been my most successful.... I've at least managed to maintain some loss. But I see myself gaining again and I want to fix it before the same 10kg creep back on.
