I have had a nasty cold since the night of the 12th so that meant I had to be inactive and stay in bed to get better. I am feeling a little better though. I would like to start exercising again so I can stay on top of my fitness and continue to lose the weight I gained during quarantine. I checked my weight this morning and it showed that my weight didn't change very much (I was 141.8 on the 12th and weighed at 141.6 this morning, I know it's a two ounce difference, but it really isn't that much of a difference). I am more glad that there was no change at all as opposed to a weight gain.

I am pretty bummed out that I had to take a week off of exercising to fight a cold, but that's life. I don't want to lose progress. Sometimes, when I get these kinds of colds, they can last up to 10 days. What I can say is that I can getting my voice back and mucus levels have gone down. I still feel awful in the morning and night. Once I take my morning medicine, ibuprofen, and eat breakfast, I start to feel better within 30 minuets or so. I take Theraflu drink at night along with ibuprofen and my night medicine.

I know this sounds like I am getting ahead of myself, but I feel like I might had been putting on just a little bit of chub in my stomach and chest area within the last few days. I hope this is just my mind playing tricks on me. Then again, I did say that my weight has stayed the same. I hope I didn't lose muscle within this short amount of time. I do not want this to be a result of no exercising everyday like I had been for the last few weeks before I got sick. When can I get active again? At least, when can I do my normal hard work outs that take up at least an hour and a half long to complete? If I need to provide additional context about my workout routine and why I feel like I might have gained weight, I can.

For the record, the sickness I have/had is not COVID-19. I got tested on Monday and the results came back negative. I am still making sure to physically distance myself from others and stay at home as much as I possibly can.
