Hello all! Ten year LoseIt user nearing my goal (finally) with some questions

Hi everyone! I am getting anxious as I start to approach my goal weight and I would like some advice on a few things:

  1. I see my doctor next week and I want to ask him what his recommended BMI range for me is. I'm not so much worried about the number on the scale anymore, but about maintaining a healthy BMI, which is currently still 26.6 and considered overweight. Is BMI a good measurement to go by? Is there something else I should be looking at?
  2. I maintain a pretty good diet- I have digestive problems so I generally don't eat dairy and try to follow a high protein, low carb, good fats diet. It's been so long now it's more of a habit than a diet. What has worked for you? What doesn't work?
  3. I've gained and lost this weight four times now. I want to keep it off for good this time. I've been doing this for 14 months and counting. What are some good maintenance tips? I exercise regularly- usually an hour of cardio, but I'm hoping to incorporate weights soon. Any traps I should be aware of?
  4. I have a flexible work schedule, and I usually eat dinner late (8pm?) and I want to shift to having my biggest meal at lunch and then a small snack for dinner. Have any of you done this? I'm afraid I'll get hungry and have food cravings at night. What advice do you have for this? Ideally I'd be eating a morning protein bar or shake around 8-9, main meal around 2-3, and a "dinner/dessert snack" around 8-9. Is this realistic? How has it worked in your life?

Thank you all so much for reading this and for the advice!
