I've lost 10kg in 42 days, without exercising. This is just my truth. At my starting weight (which is huge) - it's pretty easy to lose this amount of weight. I take progress pics (which I'm not ready to share yet) and I honestly don't see any difference - I am just thankful that I am not discouraged. I imagine most of the first ones to go were water weight anyways.
I would have arrived here earlier if I didn't go E X T R A for 2 days. (I went out to have lunch with office mates who I haven't seen in months. And fell to online food delivery flash sales.) I don't feel bad about it though because I think you also have to make sure that you still enjoy yourself for things to be sustainable.
Sometimes I have a tendency to under eat (around 1200cal, recommended for someone like me is around 1800cal/day) and I'm trying to fix this. Thankfully the calorie counting app I use gets mad at me when this happens so I'm able to adjust.
My weight, from time to time, is a cause of insecurity for me. I didn't like talking about it. I'm doing so now because my past efforts (of trying to eat right silently, didn't work). I'm trying to switch it up. Maybe now, if I share it publicly, I'll be more accountable and have more pressure to stick to my plan.
