My husband does Krav Maga, and has gotten a lot out of it. He's been practically begging me to try it out,and so I promised him I would when I got to "one-derland" I got here almost purely by CICO and light walking and home YouTube workouts.
I took an intro class yesterday, and I just...couldn't hang. I sucked at the warm up due to a complete inability to do a push up, and 40 minutes in my blood pressure dropped (according to my fitbit) and I almost fainted, I stopped for water and ended up puking. I did finish the class though.
I'm not sure Krav is ultimately going to be for me, but it's really discouraged me on group exercise/going to the gym. I own a lot of anxiety about being fat and have a lot of thoughts about people thinking about the whale in the tights trying and failing.
I guess I just need someone to slap me upside the anxiety brain and tell me it gets easier.
