Losing Motivation?

Hi r/loseit! A few years ago, I lost about 40 pounds, going from 199lb to 155lb. You can see a progress pic in my history if you sort by post. Well, life happened and I put 30 pounds back on. I'm back on the wagon, but frustrated. Last time I lost, I worked a very physical job, which helped me meet my exercise targets. Now, I'm working as a college prof, mostly a desk and standing-in-class job.

I'm going to the gym everyday and walking a lot (I do anyway since I don't have a car), but without that "default" calorie burning, its so much harder to stick to my allotted calories on MFP. I keep getting to the end of the day and being like "...really? that's all that's left?"

Don't know if I want advice or just wanted to rant. Any tips for not feeling defeated or cynical when you've already lost and gained would be great. Thanks friends!
