Damage control and prep

Hello! My family uses food as means to celebrate, comfort, and mourn. I know it's not a good thing to use food for comfort but I think it's just a part of our culture. This week has had two big milestones: my grandmother passed and my parents celebrated their anniversary. As a result, this past weekend has been calorie heavy- big meals and lots of sweets- and it's not over yet. This Thursday and Friday my family will be holding the memorial and funeral services for grandma. I know there will be more food and lots of it. I also know that there will be little time for working out between daily life and funeral prep.

What are your suggestions for managing the big meals I already ate and the big meals to come?
