I’m a 5’10 22 year old guy and I’ve been overweight my entire life. At my heaviest I was over 320 pounds and felt like I was doomed to always be getting heavier. In March of 2018, in part thanks to reading a lot of posts on here, I managed to take control of my health the for the first time ever and starting tracking calories and working out semi-regularly. I ended up getting down to 199 in July of 2019
Since then for a variety of reasons, mostly college stress related, I’ve put on thirty+ pounds and feel super down. I have to wear my old baggier clothing again and just don’t understand why I can’t seem to replicate the success I had before. I can’t keep my hands off sweets, eat way too much, and I don’t exercise all that often. I’m terrified that I’m gonna end up just as heavy as I used to be and just seem to keep slipping back into old habits.
Just wondering if anyone had any advice about how to get out of my downward trajectory.
