I survived my first week with the trainer
And it kicked my ass Found out that I weigh 162 not 166, which is good. She gave me a nutrition guide, but I’ve been doing fairly well with that. I found out that I’m not coordinated enough to do burpees. And I deadlifted the bar!! I cheated bc this week was my bfs birthday, so we went out to eat (don’t eat before the gym, you will throw yp), and we had pizza and cake yesterday. BUT, I made sure to only eat a nutrigrain bar before the gym, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Now I’m more focused on my diet. And I love my trainer! She gave me a cheat sheet for my nutrition, but like I said, I think I’m doing well by myself.
I just need to stop second guessing myself. I diet 4 out of 7 days, because I work 40 hours Friday - Monday, and I work in a group home, so it’s hard to follow a diet with that. I only allow myself soda/caffeine, again, whenever I’m working. I did break that this week because it was my boyfriends birthday. I am holding myself accountable for that. Next week I am going to do better.
But the way my trainer does it, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday she does body sculpting class. Monday was leg day. Tuesday and Thursday we did different lifting exercises. Wednesday is cardio. My cat had an emergency (he’s okay now). But that was my first week!
